Home Services Quantitative Research

As quantitative market research services go, ours are built to give you numbers you can actually act on – not just a spreadsheet of raw data. Surveys are tailored to suit your target audience profile, delivered online, via mobile, or in hard copy, with methodology chosen for reliability, not convenience.

Our approach

Good quantitative research starts with the right method for your audience, not a default template. We work with you to determine sample size, distribution channel, and survey design based on who you need to hear from and how confidently you need to act on the results.

Online surveys

The fastest, most cost-effective option for most B2B and consumer audiences.

Mobile surveys

Built for audiences who engage primarily on mobile, or for in-the-moment feedback capture.

Hard copy surveys

Still the right choice for some audiences, particularly older demographics or settings without reliable digital access, like some retirement village and community research.

Common questions

What's the difference between qualitative and quantitative research?

Quantitative research measures – it tells you how many people think, feel, or behave a certain way, using structured surveys and statistical analysis. Qualitative research explores why, using open conversation like interviews and focus groups. Many of our projects use both together: qualitative to explore an issue, quantitative to measure how widely it holds.

How large does my sample need to be for reliable results?

Sample size depends on your audience size, how confident you need to be in the results, and how the data will be used. We’ll advise on the right sample size for your specific project during the briefing process, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all number.

How long does a quantitative research project typically take?

Timelines vary with survey length, sample size, and distribution method, but most projects move from briefing through fieldwork to reporting within a matter of weeks, with a senior researcher managing the project throughout.

Can you track results over time, not just a single survey?

Yes – ongoing tracking (such as brand tracking or repeat satisfaction surveys) is part of our Strategic Measurement work, letting you monitor change over time rather than relying on a single snapshot. Learn more about Strategic Measurement →
